Superpowers: Knowing every single student (there are 700+ at Stone Lake Elementary) and making their day every morning with a high five or fist bump! Willingly sacrificing himself to crazy stunts to passionately support the efforts of Stone Lake PTO. Jessica M wrote: "Even though he has many duties to attend to, he makes sure he is out on the basketball courts playing with students during recess and is always on board for crazy PTO fundraising challenges like getting pied in the face or turned into an ice cream sundae. He is the backbone of our incredible school and we couldn't be more lucky!"
Administrative Assistant, Foulks Ranch Elementary
Superpowers: Being an integral part of the school, and dealing with questions and issues with a positive attitude day in and day out
Brandon D. wrote: “...provide immediate, specific responses to important questions regarding school programming.... positive attitude and professionalism in dealing with parents, students, and staff. In short, I believe Kayleen plays an incredible role at our school and does so exceptionally well. I'm grateful for her daily efforts!”
Paraeducator, Ellen Feickert Elementary
Superpowers: Maria is a fierce advocate for students with disabilities, creating inclusive settings and opportunities around her campus. Her nominator wrote: "She helped bring a silent disco to Ellen Feickert Elementary and is spearheading a sensory movie night for her campus in recognition of Disability Awareness Month... She has a famous saying: "We teach them all." That is inclusion!"
Campus Supervisor & PTO President, Marion Mix Elementary
Superpowers: Always the first one to arrive at events and the last to leave! Helps students during recess & comforts them when they're upset. She can name almost every one of the 750 students on campus AND point out their parents. Like a true superhero, she's everywhere all at once! Kari M. wrote, "Without Sacha there would be no functioning school... She has a hand in every part of the school. ..She puts out cones and signs to make our pick up and drop off run smoothly, she helps referee volleyball games, and takes pictures for the yearbook. Most impressively, though, she can name almost every one of the 750 students AND point out their parents! Students rely on her, teachers rely on her, and [our] administration relies on her!"
